Pavlova Cookie is a bit annoying with his penchant for sticking his nose into everything with little regard for if it’s wanted or asked for, so that is something that people may want to avoid, but the main reason for this opt-out is his primary ability. Pavlova has the ability to essentially look into a person’s heart and see their relationships. This is not limited to romantic relationships, as he can see both romantic and platonic relationships, as well as being able to sense if a person wants certain relationships. If it has to do with their relationships in any form he can find it out from poking around long enough. From unrequited love to lies people tell themselves in relation to their perception of their relationships, he can see it all. If he focuses hard enough he can even read the story of a particular relationship. It’s a very specialized power, but it’s also very powerful. So I’d like to know if for one reason or another you’d like him to Not Do That. Or if you’d like to opt out of interacting with the little shipper entirely. The descriptions offer suggestions for people opting in, but opting out is always alright, and you can just put “No” into all of the sections. You can also just put what he can sense and nothing else if there are parts and pieces you don’t want him picking up on.
Opt out: Yes/No
Relationships he can read: This is the fun part! Tell me aaaaall about your character’s relationships. All of the important ties they have! This can be as detailed or simple as you like, or as you feel befits the importance of the relationship. If your character has a billion and one friendships with npcs, you can just say that. Have fun with it!
Beliefs they hold: Essentially, what parts of their relationships are they misinterpreting or lying to themselves about. Have they been willfully ignoring someone’s advances because they’re nervous the other isn’t serious about it? Have they been arguing with a friend over a total misunderstanding? Do they think that a relationship they want won’t work out for some reason? Do they want romance but don’t think they’re cut out for it because of their occupation or situation or something? He can sense that! Put it in!
Tropes: He is the CRK equivalent to a kid who reads fics on Ao3 to stave off depression. If you want him to call your character cringe I can see what I can do to make that happen. He’s already wrapping his head around Shadownilla Toxic Yaoi. This is also a less intensive option for those who don’t want him peeping their whole romance.
How does their heart look: I often like to embellish my writing with things like this, so sometimes I might refer to a character’s heart as though he is seeing a representation of it tangled in its relationship strings. Are there a bunch of severed ones hanging there? Are the strings squeezing it too tightly? Are the strings threatening to break? Loose? What are the strings made of? What does the heart itself look like? Is it like glass? Literally walled off? Drained of color?
Additional considerations: Anything you think is important that might not fall under the prior sections! His "knowledge of relationships" is very vague in it's scope so if you'd like him to learn something specifically to call them on it, this would be a good place to note that.

Relationships he can read: this is going to be long I'm sorry. i'm going to put everyone that doesn't have a huge impact on kanda's entire arc and/or isn't Here in his cast rn under individual dropdowns in case you ever need them, but largely the big focuses are going to be the ones outside of it.
Allen Walker: He is down fucking Horrendous—
They hated each other for like, years. Or one would think this anyway but in like chapter 9 Kanda's like "I'm not going to take hits for you if you're stupid" and then Allen is stupid and Kanda takes hits for him. So?
They are constantly fighting over something. This will not stop. They are never on the same wavelength because Kanda doesn't know how to communicate ever and this will never change. Speaking with his fists is apparently Kanda's love language. Despite all of this they are generally in sync combat wise and Kanda trusts Allen implicitly, like Allen has seen his goddamn memories of Alma (below) and Kanda wasn't even as mad about it as you'd think he would be. At one point Allen managed to ESSENTIALLY KIND OF buy Kanda his freedom from the Black Order where they're both kind of. working. or enslaved if you'd rather bc Catholics are a cult- and Kanda made the decision to come back to the Order despite how much trouble he'd get in solely so he could go chase Allen (now a fugitive for plot reasons) across the country and help him. This took Three Months for them to reunite. They're the only two people on the planet who know exactly what's going on with the other one backstory-wise. Also whenever Kanda looks at this man in the last like 50 chapters he acts like he's seeing the stars in the sky for the first time ever in his life, it's real bad.
There's an additional layer here that Kanda feels really guilty about several things that are not Technically his fault with regards to Allen. The first is feeling like it's his fault that Allen awakened as a Noah (complicated, basically reincarnation bullshit/Noah Clan is the enemy and Allen has the soul of one in him oops) even though evidence points to it being Not His Fault (that said, the antagonists of the series make sure to announce to everyone and their fucking mom that it was Definitely Kanda's Fault Yep). The second is that he feels like it's his fault that Timcanpy died since Kanda was Trying to stop the guy that did it, collapsed, and then when he woke up Tim was dead on the ground. He's fine and normal about his emotions.

Alma Karma: RIP Alma they had to kill you because otherwise this series would 100% become a BL— (aka: chat is it gay if you were lovers in your past life and he confessed to you as he died in his current life)
This is Kanda's dead boyfriend/past life lover because they reincarnated from straight people/it's complicated. He has such hangups on Alma. When they were kids (brewed in a lab) (as all Catholics in shounen manga are apparently) they fought all the goddamn time until they eventually collapsed and started laughing about it, and then from there Alma was the only person Kanda was ever remotely affectionate with. Ever.
Unfortunately due to Lab Kid Circumstances, Alma eventually went insane as human experiments do and killed everyone, and it was up to Kanda (they were like, NINE years old atp) to kill Alma so that HE wouldn't be killed. Whole thing. Kanda left the area thinking he did finish the job, but it turns out the Black Order took Alma's body and put it in a comatose state for the next nine years so they could use his cells to make MORE ARTIFICIAL PEOPLE because Catholics are very normal.
Eventually due to Fuckery, Alma got re-awoken and went insane again, Kanda was forced to kill him a Second Time, Alma died in his arms. We got doomed yaoi in DGM chat. Anyway yeah you'll be like "why is Kanda Like That" and then look at his backstory and be like oh no wonder you don't ever get close to anybody ever bud... it's bc the one person you were ever close to died due to other people's fuckery...
Sticks-wise specifically Kanda is deeply unwell bc guess who made Alma part of his past life friend group lol. He saw a picture of himself with Alma in Lily's photo album and fucking lost it. This is a can of worms to open, only open it if you're prepared he will Flip Out. i have a handful of headcanons ab them that im going to throw at you eventually one day
Howard Link: this man is so hot and kanda hates him so much (in sticks they might hatefuck stay tuned?? chi and i write One type of ship)
Link is from a branch of the Order's Central agency known as CROWs, and him being a CROW immediately sets Kanda off because he has some CROW-related PTSD due to both Alma incidents. CROWs captured them when they were kids, CROWs caused issues for them when they reunited and had to fight to the death. Central is also known to house just full out Evangelists, which is what the man that rrrrraised?? Link is.
So anyway, Link basically has to act as Allen's personal cop who arrests him at one point. This goes over super well for everyone involved. Then some shit happens, Link dies but gets resurrected, then he goes about pretending to be dead and follows Allen around. This is about the point where Kanda is like yeah fuck this guy's entire vibe it's rancid. He calls Link a bootlicker, etc etc, tells Link that if he's here to kill Allen (during fugitive hours) that he'll kill Link instead. Pretty bad. Later Link reveals that he's there with them under orders to befriend the Noah that's in Allen and Kanda just sits there like :))) great :)))))
Despite this he's also good at reading people so he can sense that Link has conflicts about this and trusts Link to get Allen to where he needs to go, he's also just like... if he didn't need your help he'd throw you into the river with cement shoes... u kno.
Noise Marie: Marie is sort of? Kanda's older brother figure but like Not Really but like Kind Of. Marie helped save him when he was Littol and is the sole person on the planet Kanda isn't typically snarky with. That him friend.
Froi Tiedoll: This is basically dad. Technically this is the General that runs Kanda's unit (before Kanda himself becomes a General anyway) but Tiedoll refers to Kanda as his son so. Dad. Kanda also trusts Tiedoll despite being snarky and mean. Because Dad.
Lavi: Lavi is a weird case because like. Kanda will act like he hates Lavi so much but Lavi also calls him by his first name and DOESN'T DIE FOR IT?? And during one scene Lavi offhandedly mentions that Kanda talks to him about Allen. So like. Smth fruity there. This is another trusting relationship I fear Kanda is soft for his friends.
Lenalee, Miranda, Krory, Chaoji, Johnny: there are more characters to lump into this section but it's shounen so you only get ones with significant Things i have to say i fear. - Lenalee is someone he's mean to because he's always mean. He believes in her, but he also calls her ugly whenever she cries. No I don't know what his problem is. - Miranda is another trusted person. Miranda is highly anxious. Kanda recognizes this and still feels the need to beef at her once. - Krory is trusted on account of being friends with Allen and Lavi, but Krory and Kanda have minimal relationship outside of this. - Chaoji is currently on Kanda's shitlist for wanting to kill Allen. - Johnny is very deeply trusted although Kanda thinks he's a defenseless dork (and he is right about this). They've spent a long time together and Kanda will go to bat for this nerd. Tbh he's not overtly mean to Johnny either and rescues him at several points so like?? Buddy. Pal. Amigo, even.
Beliefs they hold: Slaps roof of Kanda, this bad boy can hold so much self-loathing and guilt over Allen it stops him from acting on his desires to kiss that boy stupid- He is largely stopped from getting too close to people by his Alma Issues though. He's never going to Get Over Alma ever, but like, someone please tell him not everyone he likes will die horribly, i said about Allen Walker who will probably die horribly or be replaced with that Noah soul eventually,
